School-Based Therapist (LCSW, LMSW, LMHC)

Mobile Counseling of New York is hiring a full-time School-Based Therapist to serve students in the Syracuse area. This role provides direct clinical services within partner school settings, supporting the emotional, behavioral, and social well-being of students.

As a School-Based Therapist in Syracuse, you will work directly within partner school settings to provide individual, group, and family counseling to students. You will collaborate with school staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive support for each student.

This is a full-time position with a structured schedule aligned to the school calendar, with telehealth opportunities during breaks to maintain continuity of care and consistent income.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and family therapy to students in school settings
• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and school counselors
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
• Support crisis intervention and safety planning
• Engage parents and guardians in the treatment process
• Work with individuals with developmental disabilities

Qualifications

• Active New York State license as LCSW, LMSW, or LMHC (required)
• Experience with children and adolescents (required)
• Case management experience (required)
• Group therapy skills (required)
• Individual therapy experience (required)
• Experience with developmental disabilities (required)
