About Roseanne
Roseanne "Rose" Wilcox, LCSW, brings over ten years of dedicated experience to her practice at Mobile Counseling of New York. With her Master of Social Work from Fordham University (2019) and specialized training as a Master CASAC and in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), Rose combines deep clinical expertise with a genuine passion for helping others heal and grow.
Rose specializes in working with teens and adults navigating trauma, LGBTQ+ identity, and ethical non-monogamy relationships. She integrates CBT, person-centered approaches, and Accelerated Resolution Therapy to create individualized treatment experiences that honor each client's unique needs. Her commitment to providing inclusive, affirming care extends to ENM/polyamorous and kink-positive populations — reflecting her belief that everyone deserves culturally competent support.
Guided by the belief that everyone possesses the capacity for healing and growth, Rose approaches therapy as a collaborative journey toward greater health and authenticity. She was inspired to enter the field while working at an educational facility, where she witnessed firsthand how therapeutic intervention could transform students' lives. When not supporting clients, Rose enjoys hiking, reading, gardening, cooking, and has maintained a vegan lifestyle for over a decade.
