Petrina Piro

Petrina Piro, LMSW, brings over 15 years of dedicated experience to her work at Mobile Counseling of New York, where she serves as Director of Compliance, Operations, and Analytics. With her Master of Social Work from the University at Buffalo (2009), Petrina's extensive background supporting individuals impacted by domestic violence, parenting challenges, and anxiety has deeply informed her compassionate approach to both clinical and organizational leadership.

Petrina specializes in working with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, domestic violence, life transitions, divorce, and parenting concerns. Her therapeutic approach centers on partnership and collaboration, integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered techniques, and mindfulness practices to help clients explore patterns, build insight, and develop realistic strategies for everyday life.

When she's not supporting clients or overseeing MCNY operations, Petrina finds joy in her passion for knitting and fiber arts. She also enjoys staying active through fitness, getting lost in a good book, and experiencing the energy of live music.
