Jennifer Mandato Trucios

Jennifer Mandato Trucios is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC-2) who brings four years of dedicated experience to her practice. She earned her Master of Social Work from Rutgers University in 2025 and specializes in supporting adults and teens navigating depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, trauma, substance abuse, and chronic illness. Jennifer's path to therapy began in substance abuse counseling, where she discovered her true calling in helping others heal and transform their lives through the therapeutic process. Her personal and familial experiences have deepened her commitment to this work and inform her compassionate, relatable approach to care.

Jennifer's therapeutic approach is deeply collaborative and client-centered, drawing on evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic theory. She believes firmly that individuals have the right to determine their own treatment path and works alongside her clients as a partner in their healing journey. Rooted in person-centered and trauma-informed principles, Jennifer creates a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable sharing openly and identifying the changes they want to make in their lives. She finds the most rewarding aspect of therapy to be witnessing clients gain insight, build confidence, and move toward their goals at their own pace.

Outside of her clinical work, Jennifer enjoys spending time in nature on peaceful walks, exploring her love of anime and video games, and traveling to new places. An animal lover at heart, she appreciates the joy and comfort that connection with animals can bring. Jennifer's warm presence, genuine empathy, and commitment to empowering her clients make her a trusted guide for those seeking meaningful change and healing.
